1. Data controller
OnChart, operated by Shalva Janashvili, Waizman Street 131, HaSharon, Ra'anana, Israel. Contact: support@onchart.ai.
2. Data we collect
2.1 Account and identity data. Your name, email address, and TradingView username. We use Supabase to manage authentication and your account. If you begin as an anonymous user (for example, playing Traders DNA before signing up), we create a temporary anonymous identifier; if you later create an account, we may associate that earlier activity with your account.
2.2 Payment data. Processed and stored by PayMe (powered by Isracard). We do not store card numbers, CVVs, or full card details. We receive transaction confirmations only.
2.3 Traders DNA assessment data. The choices you make during the assessment and the resulting report. This behavioral data is used to generate your report and to personalize your OnChart experience. It is not sold.
2.4 SnowBall usage data. Your searches, the headlines and topics you analyze, and your follow-up questions, stored in Supabase.
2.5 Product and progress data. Your subscription status, learning progress, points, levels, and activity across the app.
2.6 Community data. Public messages and progress within our own Discord server.
2.7 Technical and analytics data. IP address, browser and device type, referring URL, pages visited, and in-app interactions. We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how the app is used. PostHog analytics are subject to your cookie consent (see Section 8).
2.8 Communication data. Emails, support requests, and anything you voluntarily share with us.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to provide and operate our services; to generate your Traders DNA report and SnowBall analyses; to process payments and manage subscriptions; to send service-related messages such as account confirmations, trial and billing notices, and security alerts; to improve our products; and to send marketing communications only where you have given consent. We use your data to help you get more from OnChart. We do not sell your personal data.
4. AI processing (SnowBall)
When you use SnowBall, your queries and related data are sent to a third-party AI provider (currently OpenAI) to generate analyses. This data is transmitted securely and is subject to the provider's data policies. Where available, we use configurations that opt out of model-training use, and your SnowBall queries are not used by OnChart to train AI models.
5. Who we share data with
We share data only with the following categories of providers:
(a) Payment processing: PayMe / Isracard. (b) Infrastructure: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and authentication), Wix (payments, invoicing, and business operations). (c) AI: OpenAI, for generating SnowBall analyses. (d) Analytics: PostHog, for understanding usage. (e) Legal: we may disclose data when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
6. Data retention
Account data is retained while your account is active, plus up to 3 years after deletion for legal compliance. Assessment and report data is retained while your account is active and deleted within 90 days of account deletion. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Israeli tax law. Usage logs are retained for up to 24 months, then anonymized.
7. Your rights
Wherever you are, you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, withdraw consent for marketing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format.
EU/EEA residents (GDPR). You also have the right to restrict processing, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority. Our lawful bases are: contract performance (to deliver the service), legitimate interest (to improve our products), and consent (for marketing and for non-essential analytics cookies).
California residents (CCPA). You have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of data sales (we do not sell data). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@onchart.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies for essential functionality (such as session and login state) and, with your consent, for product analytics through PostHog.
Essential cookies are required for the app to work. Analytics cookies are not loaded until you accept them. In the European Union and other regions that require it, we ask for your consent before loading PostHog analytics, and you can decline without losing access to the core app. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
9. International transfers
Your data may be processed outside Israel, including in the United States, where providers such as Vercel, Supabase, PostHog, and OpenAI operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards, including contractual protections with these providers, to protect your data when it is transferred.
10. Data security
We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's privacy
Our services are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The current version is always available at onchart.ai/privacy.
